Editorial standards
Razen publishes guides about conversations that decide things: interviews, pay, feedback, speaking in front of people. Getting those wrong costs someone a job or a raise, so here is exactly how they are made and who is accountable for them.
How a guide is made
- 1Researched against live sources. Every guide starts from current pages on the open web: official data, published research, and what the best existing answers already say. Figures about the world are traced back to a named original source and linked, and anything that cannot be traced is cut before publication.
- 2Drafted with AI, checked by rule and by hand. Drafts are written with a large language model under a detailed brief, then put through automated checks: a fact desk that re-reads every number against the research, a risk pass that softens any claim we cannot stand behind, and a readability pass. A draft that fails any of them is rewritten or dropped, not published.
- 3Grounded in a product people actually use. The scenarios, questions and scripts in these guides are the same ones Razen's voice coach runs. When a guide says a line lands badly, that is what the rehearsal was built around.
- 4Dated, reviewed and corrected. Each guide shows when it was last reviewed. When something changes, the guide is updated rather than quietly replaced. If you spot an error, email it to us and we will fix it and say what changed.
Where AI is used, and where it is not
The guides are drafted by a large language model working to a brief, then checked automatically and published under the editorial process above. We say so on every page rather than pretending otherwise. What AI never does here: invent a statistic, invent a source, invent a person, or write a claim about Razen that the product cannot do. Figures are traced to a named original source and linked, and a draft that cannot support its numbers is dropped instead of published.
The voice coach itself is also AI, and tells you so before you speak to it. See the AI disclosure for what that means in the product.
What we will not publish
- Guaranteed outcomes. No guide here promises you a job, a raise or a result.
- Medical, legal or financial advice dressed up as communication advice. Where a situation needs a professional, the guide says so.
- Invented statistics, invented studies, or numbers without a traceable source.
- Paid placements or links sold to anyone. Nothing on this site is bought.
Who writes them
- Nico — Founder, Razen AI
Builds Razen AI in Manchester. Works on the practice scenarios, the voice coach and the guides on this site, and reads every piece of feedback that comes in.
Corrections
If a guide is wrong, out of date, or unclear, email hello@razenai.com. We fix it, change the review date, and say what changed. We would rather be corrected than quietly wrong.
